A lingering upper-level trough will support the slight chance for isolated rain showers through Tuesday. High-pressure buildings to the west will work to keep any showers light, however. Rain probabilities then increase heading into the weekend as an area of low pressure looks to push into the northeastern U.S.

TODAY

As showers clear from west to east this morning, a mix of clouds and sunshine will give way to increasing cloud cover into this evening with a shortwave trough producing the chance for scattered light rain showers. This will favor locations to the north of the I-80 corridor.  Winds generally out of the west at 10 to 20 mph are expected, with higher gusts possible. High temperatures will rise into the low to mid-60s over the interior, mid to upper 60s along the coast, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley.

TONIGHT

High pressure begins to nose in with skies becoming mostly clear overnight.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast.

TOMORROW

A trough lingering over the region will produce a mix of clouds and sunshine and a slight chance for isolated light rain showers, mostly to the north of the I-80 corridor.  Winds will be from the west-northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  High temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior, upper 50s in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Mainly clear skies with winds light and variable. Temperatures will fall into the low to mid-30s in the Poconos, mid to upper 30s over the interior, and lower to mid-40s along the coast.

TUESDAY

A trough will linger over the region with scattered clouds and a slight chance for isolated rain showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph with high temperatures ranging from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the northern interior and mid to upper 50s elsewhere.

WEDNESDAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with scattered cloud cover and isolated rain showers.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast, with highs in the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley and along the coast.

THURSDAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with mostly cloudy skies and isolated rain showers expected.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and mid to upper 40s to lower 40s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley. High temperatures in the low to mid-50s are expected throughout the region.

FRIDAY

Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers as a stationary front lingers over the region.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper-40s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley. High temperatures will range from the mid-50s to the lower-60s over the region.

SATURDAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with cloudy skies and scattered rain showers expected.  Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast, with highs generally in the mid to upper 50s along the coast, and upper 50s to lower 60s elsewhere.

SUNDAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with scattered cloud cover and scattered rain showers.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast, with highs in the low to mid-60s across the region.
