High pressure will hold a firm grip over the region keeping skies clear into Monday, with unsettled conditions returning on Tuesday and continuing through Thursday. Much warmer temperatures will however settle into the region during that time, before high pressure and cooler temperatures return heading into next weekend.

TODAY

High pressure will produce sunny skies across the region today.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley and along the coast, with winds from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.

TONIGHT

High pressure will remain in control producing mostly clear skies overnight.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and low to mid-30s along the coast, with winds veering to the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW

High pressure will exit bringing increasing cloud cover to the region.  Winds will veer to the south at 10 to 20 mph and temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s on Long Island, upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast, lower to mid-60s over the interior, and mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Partly cloudy skies with temperatures falling into the low to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper-40s along the coast. Winds from the south at 5 to 10 mph.

TUESDAY

A cold front will stall over the region producing partly to mostly cloudy skies and the chance for isolated rain showers.  High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s along the coast, upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior, and upper 60s to mid-70s in the Delaware River Valley. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph.

WEDNESDAY

A warm front will lift to the north with cloudy skies, rain showers, and isolated thunderstorms possible.  Low temperatures will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s across the region. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s along the coast, mid-60s low-70s over the interior, and low to mid-70s in the Delaware River Valley.

THURSDAY

A cold front will pass through the region bringing periods of showers and thunderstorms.  Low temperatures will range from the low to mid-60s in urban areas and mid to upper 50s elsewhere. High temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and upper 60s to mid-70s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey.

FRIDAY

High pressure builds in producing scattered cloud cover.  Low temperatures will range from the low to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to low-40s along the coast and in the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas. High temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce a mix of clouds and sunshine.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley, with high temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast and lower to mid-50s elsewhere.

SUNDAY

High pressure will produce a mix of clouds and sunshine.  Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to low-40s along the coast. High temperatures will range in the mid to upper 50s along the coast and low to mid-60s away from the coast.
