TONIGHT
High pressure will pass to the north of the region with scattered clouds. Winds will veer from the north to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for highs.
TOMORROW
An area of low pressure will approach with increasing clouds throughout the region. Showers will develop over central and southern New Jersey in the afternoon and evening hours. Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid-40s for highs throughout the region.
TOMORROW NIGHT
The area of low pressure will pass through the coastal waters with periods of rain, heavy at times, over southern and central coastal New Jersey. Scattered showers can be expected from the Philadelphia metropolitan area through the New York City metropolitan area and Long Island. Scattered clouds are expected over the western and northern interior. Winds will back from the northeast to the north at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 20s over the interior, lower to mid-30s in the northwestern suburbs, and mid to upper 30s in urban areas and along the coast for lows.
MONDAY
The area of low pressure will exit the region with rain in the morning along the coast followed by clearing skies. Scattered clouds are expected from the I-95 corridor and to the west and northwest. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.
TUESDAY
High pressure will produce scattered clouds. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.
WEDNESDAY
A weak cold front will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s for lows and lower to mid-50s along the coast, mid to upper 50s over the interior, and upper 50s to lower 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
THURSDAY
An area of low pressure will approach with a warm front with increasing clouds and periods of showers. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and mid to upper 50s along the coast and lower to mid-60s away from the coast for highs.
FRIDAY
A cold front will follow with periods of rain, heavy at times. A few embedded thunderstorms will be possible. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s over the interior, upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast, and lower to mid-60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
