
Tranquil conditions to start off this week will be disrupted on Tuesday as an area of low-pressure moves in from the west. High pressure briefly fills in on Wednesday before a more robust area of low pressure brings inclement weather on Thursday. Then, high pressure returns heading into next weekend.
TODAY
High pressure will produce a mainly sunny sky with temperatures rising into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s in the Delaware River Valley and along the coast. Winds from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph could gust up to 35 mph but will begin to subside into this evening.
TONIGHT
Clear skies for most of the region, with temperatures falling into the upper 10s to the lower 20s over the interior and upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast. Winds will continue out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
TOMORROW
High pressure will aid in prevailing sunshine and a northwest wind at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper-40s along the coast.
TOMORROW NIGHT
Cloud cover will begin to increase as an area of low-pressure approaches from the west. Winds will be light and variable, with temperatures falling into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast.
TUESDAY
An area of low pressure will approach with periods of rain showers possible throughout the day. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast, with high temperatures ranging through the 40s across much of the region.
WEDNESDAY
High pressure will produce a mix of clouds and sunshine, with more cloudy conditions later in the day. Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast. Expect high temperatures in the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley and along the coast.
THURSDAY
An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain for most of the region. A wintry mix of snow, ice, and rain will be possible in the Poconos and Catskill region. Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast. High temperatures in the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast are expected.
FRIDAY
Lingering showers in the morning are possible, giving way to clearing skies in the afternoon as a cold front departs the region. Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to mid-40s along the coast with high temperatures in the mid-30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast.
SATURDAY
High pressure will produce partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will range from the upper 20s to the lower 30s, and high temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast.
SUNDAY
An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain and snow showers into the afternoon and evening. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast. High temperatures will range in the 40s across much of the region.
