A series of cold fronts will gradually draw colder air into the region with rain and snow showers returning by tomorrow morning.

TODAY

A strong cold front will clear the region this morning with lingering showers followed by clearing skies.  Winds will veer to the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid-60s to lower 70s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT 

Scattered to broken clouds are expected with winds from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid-40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW 

A cold front will follow with scattered rain or snow showers in the morning and scattered clouds in the afternoon.  The snow showers will be found in the Poconos and Catskills, especially for elevations over 1,000 feet.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs by late morning and then fall through the 40s and 30s in the afternoon and evening.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Scattered clouds are expected with winds from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows.

MONDAY

High pressure will build into the region with scattered clouds and a few isolated snow showers in the Poconos and Catskills.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

High pressure will exit the region with increasing clouds.  Winds will veer to the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will pass through the coastal waters with periods of rain along the coast and a mix of snow, sleet, and rain over the interior.  Some snow accumulation will be possible on cold surfaces.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, mid-40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley, and mid-50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

A cold front will pass through the region with scattered clouds and isolated rain and snow showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs.
