Pleasant conditions will finish off what has been a beautiful weekend, but a chance of pesky showers for the ghosts and ghouls remains. Then, high pressure takes a firm hold over the region through next weekend.
TODAY
High pressure will produce mostly clear skies with calm northerly winds veering more southeasterly by this afternoon. Cloud cover will increase into the evening hours. Expect temperatures to rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s throughout the region.
TONIGHT
Clouds will increase as a weak area of low pressure approaches from the West. Winds light and variable. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s in the Poconos/Catskills, upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-50s along the coast.
TOMORROW (HALLOWEEN)
Low pressure arrives, producing cloudy skies and the chance for isolated to widely scattered showers later on. Winds primarily from the south at 5 to 10 mph. High temperatures will likely reach the mid to upper 60s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 50s to lower 60s elsewhere.
TOMORROW NIGHT
A chance for scattered rain showers, becoming more likely after 8pm with the bulk of the measurable precipitation favoring the southern portions of our region. Aside from widely scattered light rain showers, a mild Halloween evening is expected with calm winds and low temperatures in the 50 degree range across the region.
TUESDAY
The area of low pressure exits the region with lingering isolated showers early and partial clearing of overcast skies possible in the afternoon. Winds from the west at 5 to 10 mph. Slightly more humid conditions as well. Low temperatures ranging in the 50s over the interior and lower 60s along the coast, with high temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to lower 70s are expected for most.
WEDNESDAY
High pressure begins to build in, producing clear skies to scattered clouds. Low temperatures in the lower to mid-50s are likely for a majority of the region. Expect high temperatures in the mid-60s along the coast, upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 50s to lower 60s for the Poconos/Catskills.
THURSDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover. Low temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley and lower to mid-40s elsewhere. Look for high temperatures ranging in the 60s.
FRIDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover. Low temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast, with high temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley and lower to mid-60s elsewhere.
SATURDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover. Low temperatures should range in the 50s over much of the interior and low-60s along the coast. High temperatures will be in the lower to mid-70s in the Delaware River Valley and upper 60s to lower 70s elsewhere.
SUNDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover. Low temperatures will likely range in the 50s for most of the region. High temperatures in the mid-70s are expected, with upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast and in elevated areas.
