Another chilly night is on the way with more areas potentially having a first freeze or frosty conditions.  Meanwhile, support is growing for rainfall by Sunday afternoon through early next week.

TONIGHT

Scattered clouds are expected with winds from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to mid-30s over the interior, lower to mid-30s in the suburbs, and upper 30s to lower 40s in urban areas and along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

A series of troughs will produce scattered clouds and very isolated rain or snow showers in the Poconos and Catskills.  Winds will be from the west-southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Scattered clouds are expected with winds from the west-southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will produce increasing clouds in the morning and scattered showers in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will back from the southwest to the northeast at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s in the higher elevations, upper 40s to lower 50s over the northwestern suburbs, and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s for highs.

MONDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers, heavy at times with windy conditions.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

The low-pressure system will exit the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs.

WEDNESDAY

A cold front will produce scattered clouds with a few isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.
