High pressure will firmly establish itself bringing a generally pleasant start to the week. Conditions turn unsettled mid-week as a cold front looks to pass through.

TODAY

High pressure continues to build in, bringing generally sunny skies and a westerly wind of 10-15 mph. High temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s are expected across the region.

TONIGHT

Mostly clear with temperatures falling into the upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast, and low to mid-40s elsewhere. Winds light and variable.

TOMORROW

Mainly sunny for a majority of the region, with temperatures rising into the mid to upper 60s. A stray shower over the northern portion of our region is possible, but seems unlikely. Winds from the west at 5-10mph.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Clear and calm. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s in and around the Poconos/Catskills, mid-40s in the Delaware River Valley, and low 50s along the coast.

TUESDAY

Abundant sunshine and a light westerly wind. Slightly warmer than Monday, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s and possibly lower 70s near the i-95 corridor and east.

WEDNESDAY

Mainly cloudy as an amplifying upper level trough approaches from the Midwest. Most will wake up to temperatures in the mid to upper 40s, and low to mid-50s around the i-95 corridor and east. High temperatures should reach the upper 60s for a majority of the region, with lower 70s again likely in the Delaware River Valley.

THURSDAY

A cold front brings overcast skies, rain showers, and the slight potential for thunderstorm development in addition to gusty winds. Isolated downpours will be possible. Winds South at 10-20mph. Expect low temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s in the Poconos/Catskills, mid-50s in the Delaware River Valley, and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast. High temperatures will likely range throughout the 60s, with lower 70s possible in parts of NJ.

FRIDAY

Weak high pressure passes through, bringing generally sunny skies and notably cooler temperatures. Lingering showers are still possible in the morning hours and low temperatures in the low to mid-40s for the Poconos/Catskills, upper 40s to lower 50s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower 50s along the coast are expected. High temperatures may struggle to reach 60 in PA. Look for low 60s across much of the NJ and NYC area.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY

Mainly sunny skies on Saturday with low temperatures ranging throughout the 40s and lower 50s possible in the Delaware River Valley and along the coast. High temperatures should range throughout the 60s, with near 70 likely in the Delaware River Valley. Overnight temperatures in the upper 40s for the Poconos/Catskills and low to mid 50s are expected elsewhere. On Sunday another cold front approaches, bringing mostly cloudy skies. Precipitation associated with this front is likely but may impact Monday instead as the timing of its arrival remains uncertain. Otherwise, look for high temperatures in the low to mid-60s along the coast and in the Delaware River Valley, ranging in the 50s elsewhere.
