Excellent weather conditions are expected today, but a returning easterly wind will mean the threat of showers will be on the increase.

TODAY

High pressure will produce clear skies with a few scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s over the interior, mid to upper 80s along the coast, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TONIGHT

An area of low pressure will develop to the region’s south with increasing clouds.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW 

An area of low pressure over the coastal waters will produce broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s along the coast, mid to upper 80s over the interior, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

A trough will linger over the region with variable cloud cover with isolated showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will approach from the Ohio River Valley with increasing clouds and scattered showers towards evening.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s for highs.

MONDAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers, possibly heavy at times.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior and along the coast and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TUESDAY

The area of low pressure will exit with scattered clouds and widely scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with waves of low pressure producing scattered to broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s over the interior and along the coast and mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
