Widely scattered showers will rotate into the coast via a developing low-pressure system over the Atlantic Ocean.

TODAY

A coastal low will track to the east of Long Island with variable clouds and widely scattered showers.  Winds will back from the north to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast and lower to mid-80s away from the coast for highs.

TONIGHT

The coastal low-pressure system will lift towards the Gulf of Maine with scattered clouds and a few isolated showers.  Winds will back to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW 

The low-pressure system will lift into New England with variable cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will back to the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

A weak trough will swing through the region with variable cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper-60s along the coast for lows.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 80s for highs.

SATURDAY

An area of low pressure will develop to the south with broken clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will pass through the coastal water with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 80s for highs.

MONDAY

An area of low pressure will approach from the Ohio River Valley with increasing clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s away from the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

An area of low pressure will produce scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior and lower to mid-80s along the coast for highs.

WEDNESDAY

An area of low pressure will continue to produce scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80 along the coast for highs.
