A developing coastal low will produce an onshore flow that will keep the region cool and unsettled for much of the week.

TODAY

An area of low pressure will develop to the south with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s throughout the region.

TONIGHT

The low-pressure system will reach the Delaware coast with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s for lows.

TOMORROW 

The low-pressure system will slowly move through the coastal waters with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The coastal low will track to the east of New Jersey with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s for lows.

WEDNESDAY

The coastal low will track to the east of Long Island with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will back from the northeast to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast and lower to mid-80s away from the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

The low-pressure system will lift into New England with variable cloud cover and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s for highs.

FRIDAY

A weak trough will linger over the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 80s for highs.

SATURDAY

An area of low pressure will develop to the south with variable clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s for lows and lower 80s for highs.

SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will pass through the coastal water with variable clouds and scattered showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s for highs.

MONDAY

Another area of low pressure will approach from the Ohio River Valley with additional scattered showers, especially in the afternoon and evening.  Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, and mid to upper 80s away from the coast for highs.
