Most thunderstorms will produce intense downpours, frequent lightning, and wind gusts over 40 mph. A few thunderstorms will be capable of reaching severe levels with wind gusts over 65 mph, hail, and an isolated tornado. Impact periods are expected to start at 12 PM and continue to 10 PM. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s over the interior, mid to upper 80s along the coast, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
TONIGHT
The cold front will slowly drop through the region with variable cloud cover and widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Winds will veer to the west at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior, mid to upper 60s in the suburbs, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the urban areas for lows.
TOMORROW
The cold front will stall over the region with variable clouds and isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 80s for highs.
