The Triple H of weather reigns this weekend, but breaks in the heat are starting to show for next week.

TODAY

A weak trough will produce scattered clouds with isolated thunderstorms.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s to lower 90s along the coast, lower to mid-90s over the interior, and mid to upper 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.  A heat index in the upper 90s to mid-100s is expected.

TONIGHT

Scattered clouds with some areas of fog are expected.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-70s for lows.

TOMORROW 

A weak trough will linger around the region with fog in the morning and scattered clouds with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s to lower 90s along the coast and mid to upper 90s elsewhere for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Scattered clouds with some areas of fog are expected.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast for lows.

MONDAY

A cold front will approach the region with increasing clouds and evening thunderstorms.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s to lower 90s along the coast and mid to upper 90s away from the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

A cold front will slowly move through the region with waves of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s for highs.

WEDNESDAY

A cold front will stall over the region with scattered clouds, isolated thunderstorms over the northern interior, New York City metropolitan areas, and scattered showers and thunderstorms over southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s over the interior and mid to upper 80s along the coast for highs.

THURSDAY

A weak trough will linger over the region with scattered clouds and isolated thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 80s along the coast and upper 80s to lower 90s away from the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

A cold front will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-70s for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast and upper 80s to lower 90s away from the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

High pressure will build south into the region with clear skies with scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s over the interior and mid to upper 80s along the coast for highs.
