Showers in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey are on the way out.  Excellent weather is on the way for the rest of the weekend.

TODAY

An area of low pressure will produce periods of rain, heavy at times, throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey through the afternoon.  Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25″ to 0.50″.  Scattered cloud cover can be expected further north from Philadelphia and central New Jersey through the northern interior.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s for highs.

TONIGHT

High pressure will build south into the region with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW 

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will produce clear skies with scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-60s for lows.

MONDAY

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s away from the coast for highs.

TUESDAY

A trough of low pressure will produce areas of fog in the morning and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast and upper 80s to lower 90s away from the coast for highs.

WEDNESDAY

A cold front will approach the region with scattered clouds and widely scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 80s over the interior, mid to upper 80s along the coast, and lower to mid-90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

THURSDAY

The cold front will move through the region with periods of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s along the coast and lower to mid-80s away from the coast for highs.

FRIDAY

A second cold front will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s over the interior and mid to upper 80s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY

A trough will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s away from the coast for highs.
