TONIGHT
Areas of fog will be a threat after midnight, otherwise, scattered cloud cover can be expected. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows.
TOMORROW
A cold front will approach the region with the scattered cloud cover expected. A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible, especially over the interior. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-80s along the coast, upper 80s to lower 90s over the interior, and lower to mid-90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
TOMORROW NIGHT
Scattered clouds with isolated showers and thunderstorms can be expected. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for lows.
FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND
SATURDAY
The cold front will stall over the region with scattered cloud cover along with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. The thunderstorms will be capable of intense downpours, frequent lightning, hail, and wind gusts over 40 mph. An isolated severe thunderstorm with wind gusts over 65 mph is possible. Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area and lower to mid-80s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area and southern New Jersey.
SUNDAY
The cold front will stall over the region with fog in the morning followed by scattered clouds along with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid-60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s away from the coast for highs.
MONDAY (4th of July)
The cold front will remain stalled over the region with scattered clouds along with isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast, mid to upper 80s over the interior, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies with scattered cloud cover. Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, and mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs. Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid-60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, lower to mid-80s over the interior, and mid to upper 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
