Waves of showers through tomorrow will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Excellent weather is set to return by this weekend!

TODAY

A stationary front will linger over the region with scattered to overcast cloud cover and scattered showers.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-60s to lower 70s over southeastern New York, northern and central New Jersey, and Connecticut, and mid-70s to lower 80s in southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania for highs.

TONIGHT

The stationary front will continue to support periods of showers, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW 

The stalled frontal boundary will remain in place with scattered to overcast clouds and scattered showers.  The showers will be capable of heavy downpours at times.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to mid-70s for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

The stationary front will continue to support periods of showers, heavy at times.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows.

FRIDAY

A cold front will pass through the region with scattered to broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Weak high pressure will produce scattered to broken cloud cover through the forecast period.  Temperatures will range from the upper 50s to mid-60s for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s away from the coast for highs.

MONDAY

A strong cold front will produce periods of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-70s over the interior, mid to upper 70s along the coast, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the mid to upper 50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the mid to upper 50s for lows and lower to mid-70s on the coast, mid to upper 70s over the interior, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
