TODAY
A wave of low pressure will produce overcast skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms this morning. Scattered clouds are expected this afternoon and evening. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast, and upper 80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
TONIGHT
A stationary boundary over the region with produce scattered to broken cloud cover and some areas of fog. A few isolated showers are possible. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-50s over the interior, upper 50s to lower 60s in the suburbs, and lower to mid-60s in urban areas and along the coast for lows.
TOMORROW
An area of low pressure will dive through the region with scattered cloud cover and isolated showers over the Poconos, southeastern New York, northern New Jersey, and Connecticut. Meanwhile, a thunderstorm complex will move through southeastern Pennsylvania, central New Jersey, and southern New Jersey with periods of heavy rain, wind gusts over 40 mph, frequent lightning, and hail through the early afternoon. Skies will clear towards evening. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 70s over the interior, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
WEDNESDAY
A backdoor cold front will drop to the southwest from New England with scattered to broken cloud cover and widely scattered showers. Winds will veer from the north to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and mid to upper 70s for highs.
THURSDAY
A warm front will live through the region with areas of fog and low clouds in the morning followed by widely scattered showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and mid to upper 70s over the interior, lower to mid-70s along the coast, and upper 70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
FRIDAY
A cold front will follow with periods of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast, upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, and mid-80s to lower 90s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
An area of low pressure over the western Atlantic will produce scattered to broken cloud cover through the weekend. Temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 50 to the lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs. Temperatures on Sunday will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast for highs.
MONDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds. Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior, mid to upper 60s along the coast, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
