Pleasant weather continues today but rainfall is on the way tomorrow, especially for the coast.  More unsettled weather conditions are expected this weekend.

TODAY

A weak trough will pass through the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers possible.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-50s to lower 60s along the coast, upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior, and mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

TONIGHT

As an area of low pressure approaches the region, clouds will steadily increase with overcast skies by tomorrow morning.  Winds will back to the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows.

TOMORROW

An area of low pressure will produce overcast skies with widely scattered showers over the interior and scattered to widespread showers along the coast throughout the day.  Some of the showers will be heavy at times.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s for highs.

FRIDAY

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover.  Winds from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s for lows and lower to mid-60s along the coast, mid to upper 60s over the interior, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

SATURDAY

An area of low pressure will approach with a warm front in the morning through the afternoon with periods of showers.  The cold front will follow in the evening with periods of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to mid-50s along the coast for lows and mid-50s to lower 60s in the New York City metropolitan area, lower to mid-60s over the interior, and upper 60s to mid-70s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas, central New Jersey, and southern New Jersey.

SUNDAY

The low-pressure system will depart with showers in the morning giving way to clearing skies in the afternoon.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid-50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover throughout the period.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the mid-30s over the interior to the lower 40s along the coast for lows and lower 50s over the interior to the lower 60s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 20s over the interior to the upper 30s along the coast for lows and lower 40s over the interior to the mid-50s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the mid-20s over the interior to the lower 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s for highs.
