A relatively quiet week is ahead with high pressure in control for most of the week. Dry and mild conditions are expected as an upper-level ridge sits overhead. Our next chance of precipitation comes with a cutoff low towards the end of the week.

Sunday: A cool but sunny day is expected as we clear out from yesterday’s system. Temperatures will rise into the upper-20s to mid-30s for highs. Winds will be from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the low-20s to near 30.

Monday: Another mostly clear but slightly warmer day is expected as high pressure slides to our east. Highs will rise into the upper-40s to mid-50s. Winds will be from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the mid-30s to low-40s.

Tuesday: A slightly warmer day with partly cloudy skies is expected with high pressure still in control. Highs will climb into the low-50s to near 60 for the interior while the coast ranges from the upper-50s to mid-60s. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph. Lows will range from the upper-30s to mid-40s.

Wednesday: Another calm and mild day is expected ahead of an approaching low-pressure system. Highs will climb into the low-50s to near 60 for the interior while the coast ranges from the upper-50s to mid-60s. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph. Lows will drop into the low-40s to near 50.

Thursday: A mostly cloudy day with scattered showers is expected as a cutoff area of low-pressure moves just to our south. Highs will range from the low-50s to near 60. Winds will be from the north at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the low-40s to near 50.

Friday: A mix of sun and clouds is expected as the low-pressure system clears out. Southerly flow returns and allows highs to rise into the low-60s to near 70. Winds will be from the south at 10-15 mph. Lows will drop into the low-50s to near 60.

Weekend: A strong cold front will approach the region as an area of low pressure moves to our north. Clouds and scattered showers are expected at this time. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s on both days. Winds will become breezy at 10-15 mph after the cold front passes. Lows will be in the 30s and 40s.
