Clear skies to scattered cloud cover are expected. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area and mid to upper 30s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas for highs.
TONIGHT
High pressure will pass to the north of the region with clear skies expected. Winds will veer to the east at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid-20s over the interior to the lower 30s along the coast for lows.
TOMORROW
High pressure will settle off the coast with scattered cloud cover expected. Winds will be from the south at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will rise into the mid-40s over the interior to the lower 50s over southern New Jersey.
WEDNESDAY
A weak trough will pass through the region with scattered cloud cover. Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior, upper 40s to lower 50s in the New York City metropolitan areas, and lower to mid-50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas for highs.
THURSDAY
A cold front will move through the region in the morning with isolated rain and snow showers. Scattered clouds are expected in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from the mid-20s over the interior to the mid-30s along the coast for lows and upper 20s over the interior to the upper 30s along the coast for highs.
FRIDAY
High pressure will produce clear skies throughout the region. Temperatures will range from the mid-10s over the interior to the lower 20s along the coast for lows and mid-30s to lower 40s for highs.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
A warm front will slowly move through the region with periods of showers for most of the region and a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain for the Poconos and Catskills, especially on Saturday morning. Temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 20s over the interior to the lower 30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas for highs. Temperatures on Sunday will range from the lower 30s over the interior to the upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s along the coast, upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior, and lower to mid-50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
MONDAY
A cold front will follow with additional scattered showers. Temperatures will range from the mid-30s to lower 40s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast, lower to mid-60s over the interior, and mid-60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
