A relatively quiet week is ahead with high pressure in control for most of the week. A stray snow shower can not be ruled out during the week but our next impactful system looks to move in next weekend.
Sunday: A nice day with mostly sunny skies is expected. A stray lake effect snow showers can not be ruled out for far northern regions. Highs will climb into the mid-30s to low-40s for the interior while the coast ranges from the low-40s to upper-40s. Winds will be from the west at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the upper-0s to mid-10s for the interior while the coast ranges from the upper-10s to mid-20s.
Monday: Sunny skies and calm conditions are expected as an area of high-pressure moves directly overhead. Temperatures will rise into the low-20s to near 30 for the interior while the coast climbs into the upper-20s to mid-30s. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the mid-10s to low-20s for the interior while the coast ranges from the mid-20s to low-30s.
Tuesday: Intervals of clouds and sun are expected as high-pressure slides to our east. A stray snow shower is possible overnight. Southerly flow returns, allowing temperatures to reach into the low-40s to upper-40s for highs. Winds will be from the south at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the upper-20s to mid-30s for the interior and mid-30s to low-40s for the coast.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy skies with the chance of a stray rain/snow shower is expected. Temperatures will range from the low-30s to near 40 for the interior while the coast ranges from the low-40s to near 50. Winds will be from the west at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the low-20s to near 30 for the interior while the coast ranges from the low-30s to near 40.
Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds is expected as an area of high-pressure slides back into our region. Highs will rise into the low-20s to near 30 for the interior while the coast ranges from the mid-30s to low-40s. Winds will be from the northwest at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the upper-0s to mid-10s for the interior while the coast ranges from the upper-10s to mid-20s.
Friday: Sunny skies and calm conditions are expected with high-pressure directly overhead. Highs will be in the low-30s to near 40. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the low-20s to near 30.
Weekend: An area of low pressure will move in from the west and bring the chance of rain showers to the region. Highs will range from the low-40s to near 50 on Saturday while 50s and 60s are possible on Sunday. Lows will range from the 20s to the low 30s.
