A cold front will approach with increasing clouds followed by showers developing in the evening. Winds will be from the south at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.
WEDNESDAY
The stalled cold front and a wave of low pressure will produce periods of rain throughout the region in the morning followed by clearing skies in the afternoon. Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph at times. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-50s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior, lower to mid-60s along the coast, and mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
THURSDAY
Clouds will increase through the day with a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and rain developing by the evening. The wintry mix will quickly change over to rain along the coast while an icy mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will continue northwest of the I-95 corridor. Temperatures will range from the upper 10s to the mid-20s over the interior and upper 20s to mid-30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs.
FRIDAY
The area of low pressure will lift through the region with periods of rain along and southeast of the I-95 corridor while a mix of sleet and freezing rain will continue northwest of the I-95 corridor. Ice and snow accumulation will be a high threat for locations northwest of the major cities. Temperatures will range from the mid-20s over the interior to the mid-30s along the coast for lows and upper 30s over the interior to the lower 50s along the coast for highs.
SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY
High pressure will be in control with clear skies to scattered clouds. Temperatures on Saturday will range from the lower 10s over the interior to the lower 20s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 30s for highs. Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid-10s over the interior to the mid-20s along the coast for lows and mid-30s over the interior to the mid-40s along the coast for highs. Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower 10s over the interior to the mid-20s along the coast for lows and lower 20s over the interior to the mid-30s along the coast for highs.
