After a hot and humid weather pattern started the week, a cool onshore wind will usher in a cooler weather pattern starting today.

A cold front will continue to slowly sink to the south today with scattered to broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will veer to the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-70s to lower 80s for highs this afternoon.

The cold front will stall to the south of the region tonight with scattered to broken cloud cover expected.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid-50s to lower 60s for most of the region but lower to mid-60s in urban areas for lows.

High pressure over New England and a frontal boundary to the south will linger over the region tomorrow through Saturday with scattered to broken cloud cover and isolated showers.  Winds will veer to the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will rise into the upper 60s to lower 70s for highs tomorrow afternoon.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and lower to mid-70s along the coast, mid to upper 70s for higher elevations, and upper 70s to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

A cold front will pass through the region on Sunday with scattered to broken cloud cover with scattered showers towards the evening.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s for lows and upper 60s to mid-70s along the coast and mid-70s to lower 80s away from the coast for highs.

A series of weak troughs and cold fronts will pass through the region from Monday through Thursday with scattered to broken cloud cover and isolated to widely scattered showers.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s along the coast and higher elevations and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-70s along the coast and higher elevations and mid-70s to lower 80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
