Unsettled conditions start the week, but all eyes are on Wednesday with the threat of thunderstorms for the region, especially in the Delaware River Valley.

A series of troughs will pass through the region today through tomorrow with scattered clouds with isolated showers.  Winds will back from the southwest to south at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s for highs this afternoon.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior, mid to upper 60s on the coast, and upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

A cold front will pass through the region on Wednesday with periods of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  Winds will be from the south at 10 to 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to mid-50s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior, lower to mid-60s along the coast, and mid-60s to lower 70s elsewhere for highs.

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover Thursday through Saturday with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and mid-40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the upper 20s to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and mid-50s to lower 60s for highs.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid-30s to lower 40s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior, lower to mid-60s on the coast, and mid-60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

An area of low pressure will pass through the region on Sunday with periods of rain, heavy at times.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

High pressure will build into the region on Monday with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.
