Unsettled conditions will remain a threat through next week as a series of low-pressure systems and cold fronts march through the region.

High pressure over the Gulf of Maine and a low-pressure system to the east of the Carolinas will produce an onshore flow supporting broken to overcast cloud cover and isolated showers along the coast and scattered cloud cover over the interior.  Winds will be from the east-northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast, lower to mid-60s over the interior, and mid to upper 60s in the Delaware River Valley.

A trough will lift through the region tonight through tomorrow with scattered to broken clouds and scattered showers.  The showers will be most widespread in the afternoon.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and lower to mid-50s along the coast and interior and mid to upper 50s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

High pressure will build into on Thursday from the Gulf of Maine with scattered to broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will veer to the south at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s along the immediate coast and upper 60s to mid-70s elsewhere for highs.

A cold front will move through the region on Friday with periods of showers.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s along the immediate coast and upper 60s to mid-70s over the interior and New York City metropolitan area, and mid to upper 70s in the Delaware River Valley.

A weak cold front will produce scattered clouds and isolated showers on Saturday.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s for highs.

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers Sunday through Monday.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s for lows and lower to mid-50s along the immediate coast and upper 50s to mid-60s elsewhere for highs.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for highs.

High pressure will produce clearing skies on Tuesday.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s over the interior and lower to mid-30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s along the coast and mid-40s to lower 50s elsewhere for highs.
