After a prolonged period of unsettled weather conditions, this week will feature mostly dry locations aside from a stray shower or two.

A few waves of low pressure and a cold front will slowly sink south into the coastal waters today on through tomorrow with scattered clouds and a few isolated showers.  Winds will veer from the west to northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s elsewhere for highs.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and lower to mid-80s for highs.

A warm front will approach the region on Wednesday with scattered cloud cover and an isolated shower possible along the coast.  Winds will be light and variable.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast and mid-80s to lower 90s elsewhere for highs.

The warm front will slowly approach the region on Thursday with areas of fog in the morning and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid to upper 60s for lows and lower to mid-80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s elsewhere for highs.

The warm front will move through the region on Friday with areas of fog in the morning and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and mid to upper 80s for highs.

The warm front will lift into New England while a series of troughs linger over the region on Saturday and Sunday which will produce areas of fog in the morning and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-70s for lows and mid-80s to lower 90s for highs with a noted increase in humidity.
