An upper-level low-pressure system will linger over the region through Saturday morning with unsettled conditions.  Improving weather conditions begin by Saturday afternoon through early next week!

TONIGHT

The low-pressure system will linger in the Gulf of Maine with broken cloud cover and scattered rain/snow showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-30s for lows.

TOMORROW

A series of troughs will move through the region with broken cloud cover and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior, mid to upper 40s in the New York City metropolitan area, and upper 40s to lower 50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan area for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

A series of troughs will pass through the region, with scattered clouds and isolated showers. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s for lows.

SATURDAY

A warm front will move through the region with widespread showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior, lower to mid-50s in the suburbs, and mid to upper 50s in urban areas for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s along the coast, upper 60s to lower 70s in the Delaware River Valley, and lower to mid-60s over the interior for highs.

FRIDAY

A cold front will produce waves of showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast and lower to mid-60s away from the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s along the coast, mid to upper 60s over the interior, upper 60s to mid-70s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.
