The maritime air mass in place will continue to produce cloudy conditions and a threat for an isolated shower along the coast.  More widespread rainfall is expected by the end of the week.

After the areas of fog lift along the coast this morning, scattered to broken cloud cover is expected through this evening.  An isolated shower is possible along the immediate coast.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-70s along the coast and upper 70s to lower 80s elsewhere for highs.

Fog will redevelop this evening through tomorrow morning, especially along the coast.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s for lows.

Scattered to broken cloud cover with isolated showers can be expected tomorrow.  Winds will be from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to mid-70s along the coast and mid-70s to lower 80s elsewhere for highs.

A trough of low pressure will lift through the region from the south on Thursday with scattered showers expected.  A few showers will be capable of heavy downpours.  Winds will be from the south at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and mid-60s to lower 70s for highs.

A cold front will slowly approach the region on Friday with widespread showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and upper 60s to lower 70s on Long Island and mid to upper 70s elsewhere for highs.

The cold front will move through on Saturday with lingering showers and thunderstorms followed by clearing skies in the late afternoon and evening.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid-60s to lower 70s for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.

High pressure will be in control on Sunday and Monday with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s for highs.
