As a cold front pushes off the coast this morning, showers and low clouds will give way to clearing skies.  More clouds and showers are expected throughout the week.

As the cold front pushes off the coast this morning, a few lingering showers can be expected.  Skies will clear this afternoon.  Winds will be the northwest at 5 mph.  Temperatures this afternoon will rise into the upper 50s to mid-60s for highs.

As the cold front stalls to the south and begins to lift back north clouds will increase along with isolated to widely scattered showers tonight on through tomorrow.  Winds will be from the SW at 5 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s on Long Island and lower to mid-60s elsewhere.

The warm front will stall over the region on Wednesday with broken to overcast cloud cover and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the west at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s on Long Island, lower to mid-60s over the interior and New York City metro, and upper 60s to mid-70s in the Philadelphia metro for highs.

A cold front will follow on Thursday with periods of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior, upper 50s to mid-60s in the New York City metro, and lower to mid-60s in the Philadelphia metro for highs.

High pressure will be in control on Friday and Saturday with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the mid-30s to lower 40s for lows and mid-40s to lower 50s for highs.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 20s to mid-30s for lows and mid to upper 50s for highs.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 20s to mid-30s for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

An area of low pressure will approach on Sunday with periods of rain by the afternoon and evening.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s for highs.
