A maritime air mass will slowly exit the region by this evening followed by clearing skies by tomorrow.  An active weather pattern is expected to continue next week.

A weak trough will exit the region by this evening with scattered clouds to overcast cloud cover with isolated showers a threat.  Winds will be from the north at 5 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-50s for highs this afternoon.

High pressure will build into the region tonight through tomorrow with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Winds will back to the west at 5 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower 40s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s for highs.

A weak cold front will pass through the region on Monday morning with isolated showers followed by clearing skies in the afternoon.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s for highs.

A warm front will slowly lift through the region on Tuesday and Wednesday with broken clouds with periods of showers.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s on Long Island and lower to mid-60s elsewhere for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s over the interior and Long Island and upper 60s to mid-70s elsewhere for highs.

A cold front will follow on Thursday with widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

High pressure will build into the region on Friday with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s for highs.
