Rain will be a threat throughout the whole weekend as the active weather pattern continues through next week.

A cold front will move through the region this morning with scattered showers.  Skies will clear this afternoon.  Winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid-60s to lower 70s along the coast for highs.

Clouds will increase tonight through tomorrow morning as the cold front stalls to the south.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid 30 to the lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows.

A warm front will lift north tomorrow afternoon with periods of showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-40s to lower 50s for highs.

A cold front and wave of low pressure will follow on Sunday with waves of rainfall in the morning followed by clearing skies in the afternoon.  Winds will veer from the southeast to southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior, mid-50s to lower 60s in the New York City metro, and mid to upper 60s in the Philadelphia metro for highs.

High pressure will be in control on Monday and Tuesday with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s for highs.

An area of low pressure will produce periods of showers on Wednesday.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s for lows and mid-40s for highs.

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover on Thursday.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid to upper 30s for lows and mid-50s to lower 60s for highs.
