A pesky low-pressure system will keep the threat for a few showers in the forecast this weekend.  Next week looks to be warm and wet.

High pressure will exit today with scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 2 to 6 mph.  Temperatures today will rise into the upper 30s to mid-40s for highs.

An area of low pressure will develop off the coast with isolated to widely scattered rain and snow showers today through Sunday afternoon.  Skies will clear on Sunday evening.  Winds will back from the northeast to the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 20s to mid-30s for lows and upper 30s to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows and lower to mid-40s for highs.

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds on Monday.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.

An area of low pressure will produce isolated to widely scattered showers on Tuesday.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior, upper 40s to mid-50s in the New York City metropolitan areas, and mid to upper 50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas.

A slow-moving cold front will produce periods of showers, heavy at times on Wednesday and Thursday.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s for highs.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the upper 30s to mid-40s over the interior, the upper 40s to lower 50s in the New York City metropolitan area, and lower to mid-50s in the Philadelphia metropolitan areas for lows and mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid-50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.
