As a cold front continues to press off the coast this morning, skies will clear from west to east as winds shift to the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures won’t move much from the morning lows with highs over the interior in the mid to upper 40’s and upper 40’s to lower 50’s along the immediate coast. Temperatures will be falling through the 40’s and into the 30’s by this weekend with clearing skies.
High pressure will remain in control with scattered cloud cover and seasonable temperatures through the rest of the week and into Saturday. Tranquil weather conditions can be expected with winds from the northwest and west at 5 to 10 mph through the period. Temperatures will range from the upper 20’s to lower 30’s over the interior and lower to mid 30’s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40’s over the interior and upper 40’s to lower 50’s along the coast for highs through the period.
An area of low pressure will cut up towards the Ohio River Valley and then redevelop along the coast on Sunday and Monday with period of rain along the coast and a mix of rain and snow over the interior. Temperatures will range from the upper 20’s to lower 30’s over the interior and mid to upper 30’s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40’s for highs.
