Isaac formed in what was previously a cold-core low-pressure system.  Within that environment, a small tropical low-pressure system has formed over the Gulf Stream.  Isaac will continue to move to the east and will be in a favorable environment to support steady intensification through the end of the week.  Isaac will move towards Europe and begin to transition back to an extratropical low-pressure system by early next week.
